Corpus Scientific
Documentation for life science organizations

The clearest version of what your data already says.

We write and translate the documents life science teams depend on — manuscripts, study reports, protocols, and labeling text — so they can be read once and understood. Every file is handled under confidentiality, by people who read the science.

Services

Two disciplines, one editorial standard

Most projects start in one column and end up needing the other. Writing and translation sit on the same terminology, the same templates, and the same review step — so a document that travels between languages stays the same document.

Medical writing

Drafted from your source data, tables, and prior versions. You supply the evidence; we supply the structure and the sentences.

Manuscripts, abstracts & posters

Primary research and review articles, conference abstracts, and poster copy, structured for the publication you are aiming at and trimmed to its limits.

Study reports & summaries

Clinical and non-clinical study reports, synopses, and narrative summaries written from your outputs, with every figure traced back to its table.

Protocols, plans & amendments

Protocols, analysis plan narratives, and amendments kept internally consistent — when one section changes, we find the other four that reference it.

Submission & labeling text

Module narratives, labeling copy, and patient-facing material prepared in your own templates and house style, ready for your reviewers.

Translation & localization

Human translation by specialists who work in your therapeutic area, with a second linguist on every file. Machine output is never delivered as a translation.

Document translation

Full documents rendered into your target languages, with layout, numbering, and table structure preserved so the file drops straight back into your set.

Back-translation & reconciliation

Independent back-translation by a linguist who has not seen the source, followed by a reconciliation report noting every difference and how it was resolved.

Terminology & glossary management

A project glossary and translation memory maintained across your whole document set, so a term approved once stays approved everywhere.

Review of existing translations

Assessment of translations you already hold against their source, returned with tracked changes and a short note explaining each substantive edit.

How it works

Four steps, and you can stop after the second

Scoping and quoting cost nothing. You only commit once you have a fixed price, a named deliverable, and a date in writing.

Scope

Send the document, or just describe it. We confirm the deliverable, the language pair, the templates and reference material involved, and tell you plainly what we would need from you — and anything we think is missing.

Quote

You receive a fixed price and a delivery date, or an hourly estimate with a cap for open-ended work. Nothing is charged, and no file moves, until you accept in writing.

Draft and check

We write or translate against your terminology and templates, then hand the draft to a second specialist for an independent check of language, consistency, and every number against the source.

Delivery and revision

You get the deliverable in your working format with a change log and any open queries listed. Two revision rounds are included, and we do not close a file while something in it still reads wrong.

Why work with us

Why teams hand us the difficult document

Three things decide whether outsourced documentation is worth it: whether the writer understood the science, whether the date held, and whether the material stayed private. We organize the whole practice around those three.

Clarity

A document is clear when a reader gets it on the first pass. That is a craft decision in every sentence — not a style sheet applied at the end.

  • Writers with graduate training in the field they are writing about, so the argument survives the editing.
  • One voice across a document set, even when several authors contributed to the source material.
  • Plain language where plain language belongs — patient-facing text written to be read by patients.
  • Queries raised, not guessed. Where the source is ambiguous, you get a question instead of an invention.

Reliability

We quote dates we can keep. Capacity is confirmed with the assigned specialist before a date reaches you, which is why our quotes sometimes take a day.

  • One point of contact for the whole project, who knows the file and answers the same day.
  • Version discipline — clean and tracked copies, a change log, and a record of which source version each deliverable came from.
  • Two revision rounds included in every fixed-price engagement, not billed as extras.
  • Early warning, not late apology. If anything threatens a date, you hear it while there is still time to act.

Confidentiality

Unpublished data and pre-launch material are the most sensitive documents an organization owns. We treat every file that way by default, without being asked.

  • A confidentiality agreement before any file moves — ours or yours, whichever you prefer.
  • Access limited to the assigned team, named to you on request, and nobody else.
  • Encrypted transfer and storage, through a secure link we provide rather than email attachments.
  • Returned or destroyed on request, with written confirmation when a project closes.
  • Never used to train anything. Your material is not fed to public or third-party AI tools, full stop.
Engagement

Pay a fixed price, or ask for a quote

Two routine services have a published rate you can pay for directly when you already know what you need. Everything else is quoted per project, because a report built from your tables is not a per-word job.

You never have to pay to start. Checkout exists for the times you already know the scope — not as a gate in front of a conversation. Most projects begin with an inquiry, a quote, and an invoice on your usual terms.

Inquiry

Tell us about the document

A few lines is enough to get a useful answer. We reply within one business day, usually with either a quote or the two questions standing between you and one.

Please don’t attach files to this form. Once we have agreed on scope we send a secure upload link, and the agreement above goes out before it.
